Is It True That Long Term Care Insurance Doesn’t Work?

The most common myth about long term care insurance is the older insurance that people bought, say 30, 40, or 50 years ago, that they can’t use it. So, this is the problem. Long Term Care Insurance has a negative stigma to it and it’s not earned. Modern Long Term Care Insurance actually provides for the future, either through a senior living center, personal care assistance in the confines of your own home, or a full-time senior living center that’s 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The difference is, is the preparation. One of those facilities in today’s terms run about $130,000 a year. So, you have to really prepare for the future.
